KTP - One of the largest graduate recruitment programmes across Europe
What is KTP?
Knowledge Transfer Partnerships (KTP) is a UK-wide, government-funded activity that helps organisations to improve their competitiveness and/or profitability through the better use of knowledge, technology and skills that reside within Universities and Further Education Colleges.
KTP is a technology transfer programme between a university and an industry partner which offers graduates an opportunity to fast track their career. As a KTP Associate you will be provided with an opportunity to work in a dynamic, exciting business, managing a challenging project which is central to a company's strategic development and long term growth. As a result, you will rapidly build your portfolio of skills, knowledge and experience.
KTPs are open to organisations of all sizes in most sectors. Over recent years, Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) have comprised the majority of participating organisations. The aim of Knowledge Transfer Partnerships is to strengthen the competitiveness and wealth creation of the UK by the stimulation of innovation in business through collaborative partnerships with the UK knowledge base.
With the help of a specialist Knowledge Transfer Partnership Consultant, you will identify a university, college or research organisation that has the right expertise for your business. Together you will then define and agree a project that will enable you to draw on their expertise and apply it to your business.
