Stepping Stone to Success Programme
The Belfast City Council, in partnership with the Northern Ireland Technology Centre (NITC), Queen's University Belfast and Belfast Metropolitan College, have created a programme aimed at helping small manufacturing companies to sustain and grow their businesses by helping them to develop their ideas through innovation.
The programme will help established micro-businesses conside innovation to deliver tangible benefits and identify issues which are blocking growth or disadvantaging them relative to their competitors.
Participants will be assisted by specialists from the further and higher education sector who will provide knowledge, technology, expertise and facilities to enable innovative development of ideas.
Benefits to participating companies
The ultimate objective is to enable participants to increase their profitability and revenue through building effective capability within their businesses which will lead to:
- new or improved products and services
- new markets
- new or improved processes
Who should Participate?
The programme is targeted at the owner, managers or managing directors of small to medium sized manufacturing businesses.
